Heritage + Conservation
Edgingtons has been actively involved in conservation and heritage projects since its foundation over 160 years ago. We have a large portfolio of work on Grade I and Grade II Listed Buildings.
Reginald Hyne became recognised both locally and nationally for his lead on “Conserving the Historic Built environment.”
Some of our earliest work at Windsor Castle was personally commissioned by the King. Our archives provide a rich architectural and cultural history of Windsor, Eton and the surrounding areas.
More recently we were involved in masterminding a facelift of Windsor and Eton, even down to co-developing a paint palette for facades, woodwork and bridges within the Royal Borough!
Today we remain committed to preserving and enhancing our historic built environment by understanding and specifying appropriate materials as well as, embracing innovation in design and technology.
