Following the construction of the new Rose Theatre, the old concert hall became available for conversion to a 6th Form Library.

The building was extended to provide an informal entrance foyer and offices; a first floor was inserted with the main hall, seminar rooms created whilst retaining the historic features, the vaulted ceiling and stone mullioned windows, creating an inspiring space for 6th Form study.
