600 bedrooms, ranging from en-suite cluster rooms of 14m2 to ‘Gold’ studios of 33m2, utilise a prototype strategy, developed through work with a number of student housing providers, ensuring maximum efficiency and standardisation of rooms. Narrow widths are adopted to minimise external façade and optimise value, whilst ensuring adequate natural daylight. The use of standard, stacked components also offers the opportunity to use modular construction and simplify servicing arrangements, thus reducing overall build costs
