Richard Parsons
Richard is a Chartered Architect with over 30 years experience in the design and construction industry. He has worked across a wide range of sectors, including education, residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed use development. Throughout his career, Richard has been responsible for the design and delivery of well-planned, complex projects from concept design, procurement and construction through to completion on site and in use evaluation.
Richard is the design leader and Director of Edgingtons Architects in Windsor, established for over 160 years, and specialists in education, residential and conservation work. Recent projects include the delivery of the new boarding accommodation at St. Mary’s School, Ascot, refurbishment of the existing boarding houses at Eton College, and new classrooms / boarding accommodation at Papplewick School, Ascot, together with the design and delivery of specialist facilities at Millfiled School, Somerset; Caldicott School in Farnham, Langley Academy in Slough; and the new Business School at Exeter University.
Richard is experienced in all forms of building procurement and project delivery, and maintains a close involvement with project work, combining skillful design with experienced practical and technical knowledge.
