The development seeks to provide 35 news homes across a range of apartments and cottages providing later living accommodation.
The existing site is made up of agricultural buildings, ad-hoc sheds, Silwood Lodge and Silwood Manor. The proposal looks to retain the low-level height throughout the site, with the new-build cottages set out as detached, semi-detached, terrace or apartment units. This helps create a modest domestic scale which is subservient to the grandeur of Silwood Manor.
