Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice – Maidenhead

Situated in Snowball Hill, near Maidenhead, the newly built Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice will provide invaluable support for families who have children with terminal and life limiting conditions.

The £6.8m building completed in March 2017 includes six child bedrooms, two parent suites, a 10x5M hydrotherapy pool plus dedicated staff, therapy & support spaces. The facility is spread over two floors with additional space located in the attic for large storage areas & plant.

The choice of building materials was particularly important to create a traditional barn like feel that was important to the client & also due to its rural setting within a Green Belt location.
