FBC Community Centre – Berkshire

The Client brief was to design & implement a facility which provides a significant new benefit for the Local Community, through the provision of a new mixed use facility replacing the existing building.
The brief called for statement building which reflected the modern vintage character and provides a much needed community nucleus, allowing for future expansion.
The design responds to the Clients wishes for a new flexible centre and allows a number of user groups to operate simultaneously.
A new community hub that combines a multipurpose hall that is used for worship, a library, coffee shop, ShureStart Nursery, Police Community Support Office, Parish Council Office, a performance hall and lettable meeting rooms.
