Vicky Kolliopoulou

 

Vicky is an ARB Registered Architect and Chartered Architect Engineer in TEE-TCG (Technical Chamber of Greece). She is a Certified Passivhaus Designer and WELL AP (Accredited Professional). She has been part of the Edgingtons team since December 2018.

She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) in Architectural Engineering in 2014. Working as an intern in AETER Architects and as an Architect for two construction companies in Greece, she briefly explored both architectural design and construction.

Her passion for sustainability and wellbeing led her to pursue an MSc in Modern Building Design at the University of Bath. She was involved in low carbon and low energy design, BIM, and certifications such as BREEAM, LEED and WELL. She worked as a research assistant as part of the sustainability team of Hoare Lea in Bristol for a 3-month placement. She worked mostly on exploring ways of creating a framework to optimise the health and wellbeing of occupants in existing office buildings. After a successful academic career, she graduated in 2018.

Vicky has worked on numerous small to medium scale projects as part of a dynamic team (residential, educational, sports facilities, student accommodation & community buildings). Her contributions have influenced the decision-making process of the directors and associates concerning environmental and wellbeing aspectsy is an ARB Registered Architect and Chartered Architect Engineer in TEE-TCG (Technical Chamber of Greece).
